One of my favourite aspects of pet sitting is meeting lots of new animal friends and getting to know their personalities.
If you don’t know a lot about animals you might be mistaken in thinking that a dog is just a dog! Well, that’s not the case. Every animal has its own personality with likes, dislikes and funny little habits.

Lucy and Dexter from Wales
We will always look back on our first pet sitting assignment with fond memories. The two dogs, Lucy and Dexter, were easy to look after and well behaved and it was exciting visiting Wales for the first time. In fact, it’s not often that you travel all the way to the opposite side of the world to look after the pets of some fellow Aussies.
Lucy’s a beautiful Labrador Retriever with the typical sweet-natured personality that goes along with the breed. Apart from having the typical Labrador appetite and the occasional theft of food, she was a breeze to look after. Nothing was too much trouble for Lucy and she would put up with anything, including Dexter!
